take me home.

tour has become slightly uncomfortable. it is very hot. the turn out for shows is pretty bad (last night we played for the other bands on the tour and one fan...) been sleeping in the van and driving overnight a bit. today the door fell off the trailer. during a friendly wrestling match last night mike and i got in a fight and i yelled at him and he pushed me into a wall (we hugged and made up...) spirits are low. but we still laugh a lot. learning to be grateful for every little thing, even when it's no fun. it's a tough lesson.

Yeah i agree with dapperdan121. Showbread is such a great band and if we dont pass through some bad/sad moments we cant learn and appreciate what we have. I would love to go wherever you are and give you a hug, but im so far =(. Well, think that you have a fan here in Argentina who pray for you, spread your music and is so grateful for all you do =).

Hey Guys!
I am sorry to hear that the turn out of the tour has been a bit slow, but just see these times as an opportunity to witness to those one or two fans or even to each other. God has blessed you all with beautiful hearts and amazing gifts, never loose sight of this !
I hope the road gets better

Mehself had a tummy bug and was out ALL day Tuesday. I finally woke up around 6pm. A friend had lent me Anorexia & Nervosa. It was an experience (she says honestly, no sarcasm, just no other appropriate words). Seriously, whether it's 1, 100, or 1,000 - what a blessing, the ministry God has given y'all. Thank you & I thank God for you'ens!

Don't lose heart. God has placed you where you are for a reason. You are all in my prayers.

Remember how important it is to lean upon God through the good times and the bad.

I can imagine how discouraging it must be, but remember what your true source of joy is.

"To Christ who won for sinners grace,
by bitter grief and anguish sore.
Be praised from all the ransomed race
forever and FOREVERMORE"

God Bless you guys,
we love you,
christopher

you guys deserve much better and know that I'll be praying for you and I'll be that one fan when ya'll come to Montgomery, maybe I'll be able to bring friends ;)

As disheartening as it is to play for just one person, at least you were able use your talents to bring joy to that fan! Also, keep in mind that school just started up; once everyone gets settled, I bet more people will turn up at shows.

As for me, I'll see you in Douglasville! Maylene usually draws a good crowd around those parts, and it's a "home" show for you guys.

I'll bring some Pocky. :)

We're praying for you back in Savannah.

no matter what you'll always be the greatest band ever in the entire world.

and yes i mean that.

You guys are responsible for some of the best shows I've been to (thanks for coming by Ashland Oregon so often), and so I will definitely pray for all of you. It seems to be hard times, but God will give you guys the strength you need.

I saw you guys both at the Whisky on the 17 and on the 23, when i actually went up to talk to josh (which i have to admit was awsome) and both times i was amazed at how the crowds were.......it should be packed.....not have 3 ppl knowing the words.....

Sounds rough...but I'm sure things will pick up. At least you know that you're doing what you're supposed to do. That's gotta count for something.

I'd add some other encouraging phrase or scripture here, but it seems that most of the other fans are already gone down that road, so I'll just stick to the classic:

"i love u guys!!!!!!!1!!!"

...or...something like that. Maybe something a little less gauling:

"u guyz rock!"

Which is a litle generic, or:

"u guyz KILL!!!"

Which will definitely offend the more conservative people, so maybe a more politically correct combination of all of them:

"we*love you gentlemen** because you 'rock'*** and 'kill'****."

Hope your morale skyrockets,
-Cody-

*Because "I" sounds like an obsessed stalker and may make other fans feel left out.

**Because "guys" might make the band feel disrespected.

***"Rock" here referring to a phrase used by the younger generation and not a geological item.

****"Kill" here referring to yet more lingo of people under sixty and not to the act of murder. Please do not contact local authorities.

Aww, It must really suck having such a small turnout to the shows. I was there at one recently and yeah, there where maybe 10 kids when you got up cause all the losers left early. I felt bad cause you guys are so great and deserve waaayyy better of a turnout. But anyway, hope you have fun traveling and such and I'll pray that you get some people out in the shows.

Oh, and it would be cool if you came back to Mo-town again, haha.
I promise I'll bring of my buds or something.

Hey, I'll have you know that I busted some nuts to get fifty-some friends to get to your show in Wichita back in June, and it was by FAR the greatest concert I have been to. Come back to Kansas soon! I love you, Showbread.
